Monte Bondone is also known as Trento's Alp. This complex mountain features traditional Alpine landscapes, from where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views on Brenta mountain range.
Apart from its four peaks - Monte Palon (2,090 m above sea level), overlooking Valle dell'Adige and the city of Trento, and the three Bondone Peaks, Monte Cornetto (2,180 m), Doss d'Abramo (2,140 m) and Cima Verde (2,102 m), which, amongst other things, are part of an integral nature reserve - Monte Bondone also embraces the vast Viote basin at 1,500 m a.s.l. A highly interesting biotope and leading botanic garden is located in the area and has been placed under the care of the MUSE, Museum of Science, endowing visitors with the chance to admire Alpine plants and flowers from around the world.
Monte Bondone is the ideal destination for relaxing strolls, mountain-bike outings and horseback riding, as well as a perfect venue for paragliding and hang-gliding enthusiasts. The Monte Bondone Skiarea is a highly popular skiing destination, and is fully equipped for both Alpine skiing and Nordic skiing.
