Adamello-Presanella
A favourite destination for the most experienced climbers, the group, bordered to the west by Val Camonica and to the north by Alta Val di Sole, is located in the largest protected area in Trentino.
Cut by the valley of Val Genova, which divides the peaks of Presanella (in Trentino) from that of Adamello (in Lombardy), the mountain system attracts the most experienced mountaineers, guaranteeing them a very challenging but rewarding experience. The group, bounded to the west by Val Camonica and to the north by Alta Val di Sole, is located in the Adamello-Brenta Provincial Natural Park, the largest protected area in Trentino. The Adamello massif is characterised by the vast presence of glaciers (42 square kilometres). If passion and experience allow you to practice hiking at high altitudes, you can extract crampons and ice axes from your backpack to face the rocks of Presanella, taking advantage of the availability of many shelters and bivouacs.
