La Bira te Fascia - autumn edition
Mountain handcrafted beer festival in Campitello di Fassa. An opportunity for enthusiasts, but not only, to taste high quality beer of some of the best awarded breweries
Water, barley malt, yeast, hops. These are the ingredients that, skilfully worked, give one of the most appreciated alcoholic beverages: beer. And, among the most fashionable variants of the moment, there are the mountain beers to which the Val di Fassa dedicates an entire festival, "La Bira te Fascia" with two seasonal events, in July and at the end of September. There are many novelties in this autumn edition, scheduled from 27 to 29 September, starting with the choice of location. In fact, it will once again be held at the "Ischia" events pavilion, in the sports area of Campitello which, on the same days, hosts the Fassa Sky Expo, the trade fair dedicated to free flight.
The three-day kermesse is enriched by taste experiences that give value to the beauty of the Dolomites, its people and mountain beer culture. Space then is given to meetings, comparisons, tastings, masterclasses, cooking contests and live music.
The featured breweries at the festival are: "Rampeèr" of Campitello di Fassa; "Leder" of Ledro (Trentino); "Monpiër de Gherdëina" of Ortisei (Val Gardena/Alto Adige); "La Stecciaia" of Rapolano Terme (Siena/Tuscany).

- from 11 a.m. - start of the festival with opening of the food stands and breweries
- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Masterclass. Beer and mountain flavours. Guided and narrated tasting with beer-food pairing by the "Unionbirrai Beer Tasters"
- 9 p.m. to midnight - live music with the "Fade" party band
"La Bira te Fascia" programme on Saturday 28 September:
- from 11 a.m. - start of the festival with opening of the food stands and breweries
- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Masterclass. Beer and mountain flavours. Guided and narrated tasting with beer-food pairing by the "Unionbirrai Beer Tasters"
- 9 p.m. to midnight - live music with the pop-rock band "Starlight"
"La Bira te Fascia" programme on Sunday 29 September:
- from 11 a.m. - start of the festival with opening of the food stands and breweries
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Masterclass. Beer and mountain flavours. Guided and narrated tasting with beer-food pairing by the "Unionbirrai Beer Tasters"
- in the afternoon - award ceremony for the popular competition "Na Bira per Setember" crowning the best beer of the festival
- 6 p.m. - closing of the festival
The masterclasses are chargeable (18 €, 4 craft beers for 4 food tastings) and reservation is compulsory by sending an email to labiratefascia@gmail.com by 6 p.m. on the previous day.
Admission to the festival is free of charge. Drinks are charged with tokens that can be purchased at the cash desk (1 token = 1 €). For tastings, it is necessary to buy a glass and glass holder at the price of 3 €.
