Lyric opera to a libretto by Adelheid Wette with the young talents of the Interregional Singing and Theatre School of the "Le Muse e le Dolomiti" association, led by director Giacomo Gamba and accompanied on piano by maestro Enrico Gibellato
The much-loved fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm comes to life in Engelbert Humperdinck's opera, a masterpiece that, with captivating music and rising emotions, conquers the hearts of spectators all over the world, especially during the Christmas season. This performance, offered in an abbreviated version of about 70 minutes (without intermission), is sung in German with Italian surtitles and is directed by Giacomo Gamba. It is produced by the Interregional Singing and Theatre School of the "Le Muse e le Dolomiti" association. The school, which is active in Dolomite towns such as Agordo, Caprile, Cavalese, Moena and Vallada Agordina, has a strong social value: it unites children and young people from different valleys, bringing them closer to the world of theatre and music. On stage, young talents will perform alongside internationally renowned professionals, offering the public a show of high quality and intense emotional impact.
Suitable for spectators of all ages (recommended from 5 years of age and up), this event is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Municipalities of Moena and Falcade, Moena Eventi, PromoFalcade, and with the patronage of entities such as the Comun General de Fascia and the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme.
