In the spaces of the "Galleria Civica di Trento", Mart di Rovereto dedicates a solo exhibition to the Trentino painter "Albino Rossi" born in 1953 in Val di Sole.
The exhibition is called "Albino Rossi - Fiori del Silenzio" and will be open from Sunday 12 July to Friday 6 October 2024.
About 60 works of small or very small format, created specifically for the exhibition and divided into groups and sequences, reflect the poetics of the artist, focused from the beginning on a lyrical and
never nostalgic for mountain life through a figurative pictorial language, with a strong recurrence of still life.
In the basement of the Gallery, the route winds through the characteristic fruits and flowers of the Alps, with particular attention to the spontaneous vegetation of the Brenta Dolomites. The three final rooms become
almost three mountain chapels, places of recollection and meditation. In his works Rossi recalls the idea of an ancient culture, of doing things at home, of a widespread spirituality, of local herbalism. His work is
thus connects to a traditional, popular, ritual religiosity. The exhibition is part of the activity of ADAC, the Archive of Contemporary Artists of Trentino, which works for the enhancement, promotion,
study and knowledge of the artistic experiences active in the area.
