The magic of butter
Every Friday morning, a manual workshop at Ciampac for children to learn how to make butter the old-fashioned way
Programme: how is butter made? Come to "Ciampac" to discover the magic of the churn and try using it yourself! The guide will reveal all the secrets for making excellent butter, starting with alpine milk and following traditional techniques, and then we will all taste this mountain delicacy together.
Activity organised by the association "Sentieri in Compagnia", dedicated to families and children over the age of 4. Easy difficulty, strollers admitted (no walk, stay in the Ciampark playground area).
Schedule and meeting point: every Friday at 10 a.m. by the mountain station of "Ciampac" gondola (Alba di Canazei). Duration: about 2 hours.
Price: limited enrolment free activity, organised by "Ciampac e Contrin" lift society, included in the Panorama Pass or in the lift ticket. Compulsory reservation online, at the Sport Check Points in the valley or by phone on +39 0462 870997 within 6 p.m. of the previous day. Lift ticket and possible lunch at the hut borne by the participants. Activity cancelled in case of bad weather.

If you would also like to spend the afternoon at Ciampac, you can follow three themed itineraries on your own: "On the tracks of Ciampy" (1.30-hour walk), the sensory trail "Out of box" (approx. 2 hours), and "macchinista" (machinist) at Ciampac (approx. 20 minutes).
