Bau Beach at lago delle Piazze
Instructions to enjoy a fun swim
Upstream from lago di Serraia, in the heart of the Pinè plateau, we find the lake of Piazze, an artificial basin surrounded by the Ceramonte and Dosso di Costalta forests. The path that skirts it makes it possible to walk all the way around the water, and at the end of the walk, your pets can refresh themselves in an area created especially for them.
Actually, on the western shore, in Cercenadi, there is a nice beach created especially for dogs. This so-called “Bau Beach” is open at any time, but the dogs must:
- Be listed in the canine registry and be regularly vaccinated
- Swim under the supervision of the owner, who takes full responsibility for the animal
- Be put back on the leash after their swim.
Owners are given a few rules of common decency: if the dog messes, the faeces must be collected and put in the designated container.
It may be useful to keep in mind that at the Bau Beach there are no taps and no beach umbrellas: it is up to the owners to bring water to drink and a means of creating shade.
