The oldest Festa dell’Uva (Grape Festival) in Trentino celebrates this year its 64th anniversary. In Giovo, a small village surrounded by vineyards, every year in late September, a three days festival is dedicated to grapes. In ancient courts and along the narrow alleys between the village houses, you can taste food and wine available at traditional stands.
You can also enjoy moments of magical atmosphere with music and performances, and practice sports and wildlife activities such as the Marcia dell’Uva (Grape March) . However, the highlight of the event remains the Sunday floats parade that intensively engages the public thanks to colors, structures and spectacular choreographies.
Giovo’s Festa dell’Uva celebrates the wine tradition of the valley as it deserves.
