Brenta Open
The history of a few becomes the history of many during the Brenta Open event. An opportunity to climb the Dolomites all together (people with and without disabilities), with the memory of those who have gone before us, immersed in the beauty of nature and music. Two days dedicated to inclusiveness on the peaks of the Brenta Dolomites.
DOLOMITES: everyone's patrimony, accessible to all
Access to the mountains, regardless of one's level of ability and psychophysical state, is an exceptional achievement: the natural environment is in fact one where, more than architectural barriers, those related to moral strength, character and human qualities often come into play, which are directly linked to the difficulties faced in life.
A community asset such as the Dolomites, recognised as a World Heritage Site in 2009, only truly belongs to humanity if it becomes accessible to all: this is the transversal social message that the initiative aims to convey.
The project, born in the Dolomiti-Paganella area and carried out by mountain guides trained to accompany people with physical and mental fragility, aims to promote an inclusive and accessible mountain.
All participants and spectators will be united in a big embrace by the "concert from the peaks" with musician-mountaineers Michele Selva on soprano sax and Michele Pavesi on trumpet.
