Visitor's Tax
The tourist tax is a fee that must be paid at the lodging in addition to the price of the holiday booked. The tax is determined on the basis of the facility's classification (number of stars, type of accommodation).
The maximum applicable amount per adult is € 3,00 per night, up to a maximum of 10 consecutive nights, while children up to 14 years are exempt from paying.
EXEPTIONS The following are exempt from paying the provincial tourist tax

- minors up to the age of 14;
- those receiving treatment at public and private accredited hospital facilities, affiliated with the national health service and located in the province;
- the people who accompany patients admitted to public and private accredited hospital facilities, affiliated with the national health service and located in the province, up to the limit of one accompanying person per patient;
- persons entitled under art. 3 of Italian Law no. 104 of 5 February 1992, whose disability is certified under current Italian legislation and under similar provisions of the countries of origin in the case of foreign citizens, and their accompanying person;
- applicants for international protection, unaccompanied foreign minors and the victims of trafficking temporarily housed in facilities:
- persons staying in accommodation facilities following measures adopted by public authorities to deal with emergency situations resulting from natural disasters or extraordinary events;
- law enforcement and civil protection officers in the exercise of their duties;
- family members of patients admitted to healthcare facilities and hospitals.
