On Lake Garda, spring comes earlier!

Here are some ideas to experience the first sunny days

A sunny spring day, as afternoon turns to evening.
The Ora breeze on lake Garda is waning, and the lakeside bike rides meander on. Eating an ice cream on a bench feels like a fine idea. The tables are laid by the bank. Look at all the colourful sails dotting the blue of Italy’s greatest lake.

After soaking up the Mediterranean vibes amid palm trees and olive groves, you can head to a crisper climate and explore the Brenta Dolomites, which welcome hikers and climbers throughout this time of the year.

There are many experiences to be lived in Garda Trentino in spring, when the days seem to never end. Here are some ideas on what to do...

What a view from the Bastion!

Three exciting minutes: this is how long it takes you to reach the Venetian Bastion from the town of Riva del Garda and, maybe, treat yourself to an aperitif or a dinner with view. You can go up there via the new tilted panoramic lift… a three-minute ascent to enjoy a spectacular view of the lake.

Time for an aperitif

The sun setting gently behind the mountains, a cool breeze from the lake and the pleasure of being in good company. There is nothing more relaxing than an aperitif overlooking the lake, perhaps from the tiny port of Riva del Garda.

Art and nature

A twenty-minute car ride from Riva del Garda, a stone’s throw from Lake Ledro, there is a gallery of works of art whose roof is the Trentino sky. It is Ledro Land Art, a journey through 25 works of art, made with natural materials.

 Stables, woods... and stilt houses

Lake Garda features two typical winds: the Pèler in the morning and the Ora in the afternoon. Lake Garda is a top destination for lovers of windsurfing, as well as the perfect spot for those who want to try it for the first time. Here, you can find the ideal conditions for the sport, the chance to hire equipment, and courses suitable for all levels.

Aerial Garda

After warming-up with walks, you are ready for something more challenging. In the Lake Garda area there are more than ten via ferratas within a few kilometres of each other: from easy ones to those for experts. An experience to try… if you don’t suffer from vertigo, of course.
