Any day can turn into a date with destiny. This time it happens in Val di Sole, among the mountains of north-west Trentino.
An exciting discovery is made by four young people who earn a living travelling the globe and telling followers from all over the world about the natural environment they love on social media. At the very time they should be most connected, they feel the need to step out of the spotlight. Full immersion in the Trentino natural environment changes the way they look at things. They decide to walk on together, get to know each other and share their private feelings with each other.
Every step transforms firmly held beliefs. Every view redefines the future.
Upon their return, nothing will be the same as before. Even their line of work is enriched by their realization that it's important to respect and look after the little things, and by a change of perspective in storytelling.
It’s thanks to a chance to breathe in the mountain air. And it’s thanks to the welcome from Ilda, a woman who lives and watches over the highlands and has never stopped lovingly looking after her treasures, so she can share them with those who know how to appreciate them.
Bruno
From Italy. The son of a nature guide, he’s had a passion for hiking, nature and the mountains ever since he was a child. His first love was photography, but at the 2022 Trento Film Festival he claimed first prize in the “Quarta Parete” (“Fourth Wall”) section with a documentary about glaciers.
Petra
From South Tyrol. The Dolomites are her home and she's always looking for a new peak to conquer. Tireless, dynamic and sporty, she depicts nature and the wonder of every new discovery.
Gustavo
From Spain. He creates worlds to share with those looking for powerful emotions and new inspirations. His strength lies in his charisma. He snaps incredible shots and is always on the move, heading to wherever great new adventures can be found.
Sanni
From Finland. She lives in a remote area in Lapland. Although she’s sweet and shy, she’s as naturally indomitable as a great warrior. More than anything else, she loves peaks, snow, space and all noble creatures. What’s her greatest strength? Her smile!
Ilda
From Val di Sole. She runs the Rifugio Lago Corvo and teaches people to love and care for the little things. She embodies the strength, character and determination of those who’ve known solitude in the mountains
