Returning to Rovereto from September 26th to 29th is the Wired Next Fest, the largest free event in Italy dedicated to innovation and the impact of digital technologies. The key theme of the 2024 edition will be 'The Impossible': a concept that should not be seen as permanent but as an opportunity to challenge and overcome limits using science, creativity, and vision.
The festival will bring the historic center of Rovereto to life with meetings, exhibitions, live performances, workshops, labs, and many guests. Scientists, technologists, large companies, SMEs, start-ups, artists, and intellectuals will discuss how—even in a globalized world—local cultures and policies can influence innovation processes and the emergence of new trends.
This year, the festival will kick off on Thursday, September 26th, with a B2B session dedicated to local businesses, fostering the exchange of ideas, innovation, and networking opportunities. This half-day of talks and meetings will focus on AI, cybersecurity, and sustainability, taking place in the Piave Hall at the Polo della Meccatronica in Rovereto.
From Friday, September 27th to Sunday, September 29th, Rovereto will host a widespread festival featuring three stages where meetings, conferences, and moments dedicated to musical entertainment and press reviews will take place. There will also be an exhibit area dedicated to direct interaction with the public, where attendees can engage in hands-on trials, games, and experiments, and numerous masterclasses and workshops with interactive sessions and labs where participants can learn new skills or deepen their knowledge.
