The wide, sunny Polsa and San Valentino pistes ‒ less than an hour from Trento and Verona ‒ are safe and easy to reach: two good reasons why they should be appreciated by families. The ski area, equipped with latest generation practice slopes featuring a treadmill, is an ideal place for those who want to approach skiing or snowboarding in complete safety, also thanks to the “Ski Slope Safety” policy for skiers and their families adopted by Brentonico Ski - the company that runs the lifts on the the Altopiano di Brentonico (Bretonico Plateau). Three brand new four-seat chairlifts, 1 skilifts and 7 treadmills allow you to reach a wide variety of slopes, from the easiest to the most challenging. Artificial snow covers 80% of the skiable surface area and ensures the opening of most pistes at the start of the skiing season.
The Polsa ski resort
The Polsa and Montagnola pistes are the longest and most scenic as several stretches run through woods. The Momo ski run, recently renovated while maintaining a route similar to 1980s one, is adored by telemark skiing enthusiasts, who often organise rallies and events here. While the Polsa Baby Park, a safe and easy-to-get-to area near a parking place, which offers snow games, a practice bob-sledding and sledding run is dedicated to children of all ages.
San Valentino ski resort
In San Valentino, there are one practice areas with 3 treadmills that take you up the gentle slopes. Happy Snow is the snow park where your children can have fun! Are you an expert skier? Here you can find more difficult descents. Even athletes train on the various gradient changes offered by the “Canalone” black piste.
