Marande chairlift, Matusa, Bosco and Piloni slopes, Chalet Paradiso
The crisp morning air, the sun rising through the mountains, the pristine snow of the Funivie Lagorai lifts at Passo Brocon. And then a rich breakfast at Chalet Paradiso at 1900 metres altitude, with a terrace offering a 360° view of the Lagorai, the imposing Cima d'Asta and the Pale di San Martino.
On Saturday 8 February you can be the first to leave a trace on these slopes!
Programme:
6.00 a.m. - Meet at Chalet Heidi at the start of the Funivie Lagorai lifts. Welcome moment for guests and acquaintance with the instructors of the Lagorai Italian Ski School, who will accompany us on this adventure.
6.15 a.m. - Ascent with the Marande chairlift to reach Chalet Paradiso and the summit of Monte Agaro.
6.30 a.m. - On the terrace of Chalet Paradiso, everyone is open-mouthed, waiting for the sun to rise from the mountains. The instructors of the Lagorai Italian Ski School will introduce us to the imposing peaks that surround us as they are kissed by the sun.
7.00/8.15 a.m. - Rich sweet and savoury breakfast with local produce, all in the warmth of Chalet Paradiso, to replenish energy and prepare for the descent.
8.15 a.m. - Everyone on the piste! The most trained can make their first tracks on the snow of the Pista Bosco or Pista Piloni, the others on the gentle slopes of the Pista Matusa.
Non-skiers can also participate, choosing to return to the valley on snowshoes or by chairlift.
8.30 a.m. - The choice is yours: return home or stay with skis on and spend the day on the Funivie Lagorai slopes?
Prices:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: € 25 per person
- Children from 7 to 12 years: € 20 per person
- Children up to 6 years free of charge
Price includes: ascent, breakfast, descent (with ski instructors present); also for those with a regular weekly or seasonal ski pass and for those returning with snowshoes
The initiative will take place with a minimum number of 15 participants. Participation is limited to a maximum of 40 people. In the event of strong winds, such as to prevent the opening of the lift, the initiative will be cancelled and participants will be reimbursed the full cost.
Those taking part in #trentinoskisunrise will receive a €5 discount on the daily rate for Saturday 8 February 2025

This is a medium-difficulty slope which starts from the Chalet Paradiso and then runs with a change in gradient through fir woods. Adrenaline and fun guaranteed, with an exceptional view of the imposing granite massif of Cima d'Asta.
Matusa Slope
This slope also starts from the Chalet Paradiso and then detaches from the Bosco slope and winds with gentle slopes towards the Valfontane malga. About a couple of kilometres long, it does not present any particular difficulties, but offers views of the peak of Monte Agaro and the Pale di San Martino.
Piloni Slope
A medium-difficulty slope that starts from Chalet Paradiso and goes as far as Chalet Heidi, it has an altitude difference of 240 m and a length of 800 m.
