Valorz and its masi

This route takes you through Stelvio National Park through snowy woods and meadows at the foot of the spectacular Valorz waterfalls.

This is an easy snowshoe hike along paths and forest roads marked with snowshoe signs. This itinerary in the <a href="https://www.visitvaldisole.it/en/stelvio-national-park"><b>Stelvio National Park</b></a> gives you a close-up view of the characteristic buildings from our rural past, the masi, and, as it goes through a rather shady environment with little sunshine, it maintains its snow cover until late winter. Along the way you will come across installations depicting woodland animals and made from natural materials by the artist Maurizio Misseroni, together with verses by poet Teresa Girardi.<br/>Should you meet any ‘real’ animals, please do not run towards them or shout. <p>Enjoy the silence and the solemnity that this wood imprints in your mind.</p>
