Sul monte Maggio vetta d'Italia

<p>This is a classic of the Alpe Cimbra, from the 1600 m of Passo Coe to the 1853 m of the peak of Monte Maggio. It is an alternative itinerary to the route that reaches the same peak from Malga Zonta.</p>

<p>The route does not have specific directional signs. In the longest section and for much of the return journey, the signs of the Sentiero della Pace (Peace Path) and the Giro del monte Maggio (27) tourist route are in any case useful. Attention must be paid, in the first section, to the presence of the Passo Coe ski slope (keep to the side) and so, in the last section of the return journey, to the presence of the slopes of the Passo Coe cross-country skiing centre (keep to the top). The walk is well exposed to the south and runs on the high orographic right-hand side of the deep Val di Terragnòlo. There are extensive and exciting views of the Pasubio massif and, once at the summit, of the valleys and the Vicenza Pre-Alps. Beware of some passages, where the path is narrower, due to the presence of possible icy sections.</p>
