<p>The route through silver fir, spruce and Scots pine forests leads to the Potzmauer Hut, a hut nestling in a basin of meadows surrounded by fir forests. It is a stopping point for both eating and spending the night and also an intermediate point for longer hikes to interesting places such as the peat bogs of Lac del Vedes or Lago di Valda or to Lago Santo.</p>
