Contemporary Art Museum Cavalese
From photography to sculpture and painting to video art. The Cavalese Contemporary Art Museum is an important window on contemporary art in the heart of the Alps.
Housed in the rooms of the historic Palazzo Rizzoli, the museum was founded in 2001 to house a conspicuous collection of contemporary art works granted free of charge by a passionate collector, including an important section dedicated to the great artist Bruno Munari. Today, the museum is the venue for interesting temporary exhibitions and cultural events that aim to enhance the Alpine region and its traditions while at the same time promoting avant-garde art. Its permanent collection includes works by Italian and foreign artists active in photography, graphic arts, design, video art, painting, sculpture, drawing and installations. The ideal place to enjoy the conceptual depth of contemporary art, surrounded by a typical Alpine landscape.
STRENGTH
The combination of the value of its artistic heritage and the Alpine location that houses the works.
