The walnut trail
<p>“Sentiero della noce”, the walnut trail, runs across the Bleggio area, where for centuries people have been growing walnut trees, the typical product of the valley endorsed by the Slow Food movement. The walnut is the heart of this territory, characterized by a picturesque scenery peppered with historic rural hamlets, and the itinerary reveals tucked-away corners and lanes off the beaten path.</p>
