Sunday, September 29: walk to Malga Cengledino
Vincenzo Venuto is a biologist, science popularizer, author and TV host. A graduate in biological sciences, he holds a Ph.D. in natural and environmental sciences. In 2006 he was chosen as host, author and scientific adviser of Missione Natura on LA7. In June 2013 he hosts the programs Alive - Stories of survivors and Life - Man and Nature on Rete 4. Since fall 2019 he has been hosting Melaverde together with Ellen Hidding on Channel 5. In the afternoon, the host will speak at the “experts' lounge” at the Judicaria Eco Festival in Tione.
Route description: a loop hike along the path that from Malga Cengledino, from which you can admire the spectacular view of the Brenta Dolomites, continues through an enchanting forest until you reach the Bait dei cacciatori, a small and characteristic wooden hut nestled among mughoos and rhododendrons.
