Songs scented with jazz, between romanticism and a pinch of irony

Raphael Gualazzi has appeared at I Suoni delle Dolomiti before and now he is back performing at Malga Brenta Bassa, where meadows and forests form a beautiful natural amphitheatre in the heart of Val Brenta. Crozzòn di Brenta stands out among the ring of peaks around it.  Born in 1981, Raphael Gualazzi has many strings to his bow: as well as a singer-songwriter, he is a composer, arranger, musician and producer. After studying classical music at a conservatory, he experimented with various genres and won a place in the hearts of the general public with his charm and natural sense of swing. One of his greatest loves has always been jazz, especially in its rawest and most engaging form. The singer-songwriter from Urbino pours all of this love into his songs and it can also be noted in the way he sings and plays the piano. Gualazzi is thoughtful, passionate, romantic, amusing and much more besides. This is underlined by his latest album, Dreams, which combines neoclassical features with more of a funk flavour.
