"GARDUMO 77.78|17.18" Guido Benedetti
Between 1977 and 1978, the Trieste geographer Alessandro Cucagna travelled through the Gresta Valley and jotted down his notes in a red notebook.
Between 2017 and 2018, the author Guido Benedetti, in turn, travelled through the valley, recording with his camera the evolution of that territory forty years later. The research work, which produced around 2000 photographs, was condensed into the forty images on display, which were accompanied by the texts and observations that Alessandro Cucagna had recorded in his notebook forty years earlier.
