Fly Line & Orienteering
Team orienteering competition at Ciampedie, in search of the "Vivane" nymph lanterns, and thrilling descent through the trees (extra charge)
Programme: in Ladin legends, the "Vivane" are beautiful women with human and supernatural traits. They are mysterious creatures who inhabit the forests of the Fassa Valley and live near water springs, inside caves. They are rarely seen, but it is said that their lanterns glow in the dark. Today you will experience an Indiana Jones-style adventure! First, an exciting descent to "Pian Pecei" with the Fly Line awaits you, followed by the comfortable chairlift ride up to "Ciampedie". Here, the team challenge begins. Each team will be assigned a colour and a mission to complete. You will be handed a compass and given a direction in degrees. The team that finds all the "Vivane" lanterns will be rewarded with another round in the trees. Happy hunting!
Meeting point: every Wednesday at 9.15 a.m. by the top station of the cable car.
Registration: not required.
Prices (chair lift + Fly Line):
- € 30 adults
- € 21 juniors 16 years
For Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer card holders the price corresponds to the sole cost of the Fly Line for the activity € 14,50 adults; € 12,50 junior (tikcets directly at the cash desk of the Fly Line).
The activity is organised by the mountain lift company "Catinaccio". We kindly ask you to specfy that you want to take part in the activity at the cash desk of the lift. Clothes and shoes suitable for mountain excursions are required. In case of bad weather, the activity will be cancelled.
