Concert by the music band "Mùsega Auta Fascia"
From the square "Piaz de Ciampedel", the brass band "Mùsega Auta Fascia" parades through the streets of the centre and performs at the events pavilion "Ischia"
The "Mùsega Auta Fascia" is a reality born quite recently with the desire to allow the inhabitants of the Alta Val di Fassa - municipalities of Mazzin, Campitello and Canazei - to be able to study music without having to travel too many kilometres. The foundation of the group dates back to 2006. It was initially created with a double project: about 30 young and very young musicians, led by Maestro Stefano Lazzer, and a group of 25 adults, followed by Maestro Paolo Rasom. For the official debut, which took place on St Cecilia's Day (patron saint of musicians and singers), we had to wait until 22 November 2008, while it was in 2010 that the "Marchetènderes", the sutlers who accompany the band's parades in their colourful traditional costumes, joined the band. Since that first concert, the "Mùsega Auta Fascia" has not stopped grinding out successes and performances, including the one on the summit of the Marmolada on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the conquest of Punta Penia, the parade in Munich on the occasion of the 2017 Oktoberfest, and the concert on Sass Pordoi in June 2020 to celebrate the post-Covid restart. The spring and Christmas concerts, which are repeated every year to great audience appreciation, are now famous. It is now directed by the new Director/Master Fabio Riz.
In case of bad weather, the parade is cancelled and only the concert will be held at the "Ischia" events pavilion, nearby the station of the cable car "Col Rodella".
