Fiemme Valley and Cembra Valley

Sport and nature without obstacles

In Fiemme Valley and Cembra Valley you can find many affordable experiences designed to involve you, your family and your group of friends. Here, inclusion is a team game: discovering, exploring and experiencing the area, together.

The many accessible sports and activities you can choose from have been designed and created in collaboration with two local organisations: the SportAbili Association and the Fiemme Fassa Sport Inclusivo Association. Thanks to them, sport really does become for everyone.

In summer

For example, if you love snow sports, you can choose from several inclusive activities.

You can go downhill skiing on the slopes of the Fiemme Valley Obereggen ski area or cross-country skiing on the Lavazè Plateau and along the Marcialonga trail thanks to the instructors and special equipment provided by SportAbili. For people with motor disabilities, the association offers:

  • monoski, with which the skier is completely independent, from the ski lift to the chairlift to the most challenging slopes
  • biski, which is adapted to different disabilities and facilitates chairlift ascent
  • dualski, suitable for different types of lower and upper limb disabilities, ideal for rough terrain
  • stabilisers, which help maintain balance
  • cross-country sled, suitable for physically disabled seated people

Excursions also offer accessible routes and activities.

They are all suitable for wheelchair use, but if the degree of difficulty is too great, you can request an electric wheelchair (available to members) from the association : write here to check availability.

If you prefer cycling, you can ride the Dolomites Cycle Route on a handbike or tandem and, if you are looking for a sport that combines the thrill of speed with the pleasure of water, you can try rafting down the Avisio river, also suitable for people with motor disabilities thanks to a special seat and the presence of a qualified instructor.
