Experience the mountain on the go

Experiencing one trail and the next will be an adventure long to be remembered

A pair of boots, a backpack and some water and food are all you need to start your trekking in the Trentino mountains. Obviously don’t forget the desire to walk, because there is a long way to go!

Trekking in several stages is an experience for trained and averagely experienced hikers. The integral routes of the itineraries that we recommend include several kilometres to be covered every day, sleeping every night in different huts, mountain lodges, or bivouacs. But don’t worry, nothing prevents you from opting for shorter excursions to be completed even in a single day.

From the Brenta Dolomites, with the double trail for experts or families, to the trail loop in Val di Fassa, from Val Fiemme to the Pale di San Martino group, trekking in the Dolomites is the best way to learn about the customs and culture of these valleys and the world of mountain huts. Places where the rocky heart of this World Heritage Site opens up to warmth, hospitality and generous flavours... your reward between one excursion and the next.

Before setting out on an excursion at altitude, plan your trip with care. If you are inexperienced or you intend to tackle a route graded as technically difficult, then consult an alpine or mountain guide. You should also contact the refuge warden in the area you’ll be visiting for the latest weather information and to discuss whether your route is advisable. Take prudent precautions, wear suitable clothing for your route, and remember to act responsibly in the mountains at all times.
