HOW TO GET THERE:
Park the car in Plan in Rabbi Fonti and walk up the forest track to Bègoi, a characterful Venetian sawmill by Rabbies stream.
Then follow the signs for “Malga Fratte” and continue towards Ragaiolo falls. You’ll reach the bridge in about half an hour, on the Rabbi Fonti – Venetian sawmill – Fratte farm walk.
OUR TOP TIPS:
The bridge is not suitable for vertigo sufferers, although the protective side railings are high, so children are in no danger. If you plan to bring your dog, bear in mind that the bridge “floor” is an iron grid, so pets might hurt themselves or feel scared. To make a longer walk of it, after crossing the bridge, carry on through the wood towards Fratte farm or head for Coler, Stablasolo farm and the spectacular Saènt falls.
