Autumn is a time of suspension. In Val di Sole and its small side valleys, the colours of the forest change, the yellow of the larches lights up, the sun caresses the grass of the mountain meadows obliquely, as in a long sunset, streams and waterfalls roar through the granite rocks and provide an enchanted natural environment, before the arrival of winter.
At this time of year, in addition to quietly enjoying the views, there is still an abundance of activities to try, from the experiences offered by the Stelvio Nature Park to hiking in the mountains, from events related to the world of mountain pastures to the search for well-being through meditation and immersion in nature.
Dreaming farmsteads
Mountain hikes and refreshing snacks in alpine farmsteads, accompanied by a vast array of shows and entertainment, from mountain choirs to classical music to theatrical performances. The initiative is a treasure to be discovered and not by chance is it called “Malghe sognanti” (Dreaming farmsteads), from 13 September to 19 October.
The belling of the deer
An unusual experience: listening to the Belling of the Deer. Accompanied by an experienced guide, during the day or even at night, you will discover the mating calls of these regal animals.
Natural wellness
A wellness bath in the forest awaits you in the Parco dello Stelvio National Park, including sensory experiences, soft exercise, Thermal Spa and total relaxation.
The power of sound
In the Parco del Fruscio, you will be surprised by the power of sound. On 5 October, the Musica Resina event will explore the marriage of musical technology and the sounds of nature.

Taste and tradition
From 31 August to 23 September, the Cheese FestiVal di Sole takes place, a wonderful period of festive flavours, encompassing all the Desmalgade events and harvest festivals: grand finale, the cheese auction.
