Getting around Trentino
Travelling around Trentino by public transport is easy and convenient in every season.
TRAIN
You can get around Trentino using the railway:
- Brennero (Trento, Rovereto)
- Valsugana (Pergine Valsugana, Borgo Valsugana)
- Trento-Male (Val di Non and Val di Sole)
The trains are equipped to accommodate bicycles and skis.
COACH AND BUS
To get to the areas not served by rail links, you can use the Trentino Trasporti coaches and buses. Within Trento, Rovereto, Pergine and Riva del Garda, you can move around the city by bus.
CABLE CAR
To get to the mountain peaks and refuges, you can use the cable cars. Always check the operating hours on the website of the area you want to go to, before setting off.
SKIBUS
In winter you can reach the main ski slopes with the Skibus service, without needing a car.
Accessibility
Trentino has 151 accessible bus stops and 13 lines, fitted with street-level floors, wheelchair ramps for getting on and off, and reserved seats for the disabled.
