From May to October,a cycle of guided excursions led by the “Accompagnatori di Media Montagna”: explore Vallagarina’s most iconic locations, where history, art, and nature merge into an unforgettable journey. Follow our expert tour guides and discover every hidden corner of the fascinating Vallagarina, among compelling stories, and breathtaking landscapes.
The itineraries are easy, and relaxing, and allow a full-immersion to get to know Vallagarina like never before: art, nature, and history await you, step by step!
“Sentieri Parlanti” is the right way to live Vallagarina to the fullest, discovering its hidden corners and learning to know its local traditions, in a natural, unspoiled context.

Saturday 4th of May 2025 | Itinerari Deperiani
An easy walk to discover Vallagarina’s fascination, and the influence it has had on Fortunato Depero’s art. The itinerary starts among the cobbled alleys of the city centre, and continues on a charming scenic route where the artist loved to walk, with magnificient views over the Castle of Rovereto, the Leno river, and the “Eremo di San Colombano“. Finally, once the church of Noriglio -widely represented in Depero’s art works- has been reached, the itinerary leads back to the city centre, along the outward route. Two exceptional guides will accompany the route: Federico Zanoner, who will intersperse the walk with documents, sketches and readings taken from the Mart archives, and Anna Forti, who will offer some insights into the history and geology of the area. Before leaving, participants will be given a sketchbook, to take notes, make some sketches or simply keep the memory of the experience.

Sunday 15th of June 2025 | Nature excursion – Lago di Cei – Cimana
An evocative hike to immerse oneself in the wonders of a precious protected area to discover the secret language of nature. The ring-route from Lago di Cei up to Malga Cimana offers glimpses rich in beauty at every step: an alpine lake dotted with water lilies, plays of light among the shady foliage of the beech trees, the multicoloured colours of the flowering meadows and an incredible panoramic balcony over the Vallagarina.

Saturday 13th of July 2025 | History excursion – Monte Zugna
An excursion to enter an area strongly marked by the traces that the First World War left on the Vallagarina territory. The moderately demanding, circular itinerary starts from the Trincerone area, where the Italian front was only a few dozen metres from the Austro-Hungarian front, and climbs up along paths and lanes in the woods to the summit of Monte Zugna (1865 m). From there begins the descent, which, having passed the refuge, leads back to the starting point.

Saturday 3rd of August 2025 | History excursion – Corno Battisti
A moderately demanding hike on the Pasubio group, to explore a part of the history of the Great War that took place in these mountains. The itinerary follows hiking trails to the summit of the Corno, where Cesare Battisti and Fabio Filzi were captured in 1916. The route preserves interesting historical artefacts, winds its way through woods and alpine pastures and affords sweeping views of the valleys below.

Sunday 31st of August 2025 | Nature excursion – Lessinia
A peaceful walk through the gentle hilly landscape of the Lessinia region of Trento, to be amazed by the beauty of a majestic centuries-old beech tree. The circular route plunges through woods and alpine pastures until it reaches a characteristic malga built in stone. Continuing along comfortable lanes and paths, you reach the incredible “Faggio della Regina” (Queen’s Beech), listed among the monumental trees in the area due to its age.
