Vajolet Towers Night March
35th edition of the non-competitive night run through the village streets organised by the National Association of Alpine Troops, Vigo section
This is an unmissable event for running enthusiasts or simply for those who enjoy evening walks. The non-competitive march with a final classification, inspired by the legendary Vaiolet Towers in the Catinaccio group and dedicated to the memory of Mario Brunel, covers a distance of approximately 4 km along the streets of the village. Starting from the events pavilion in front of Hotel Vael, the route follows Strada Murada > Strada de Somcosta > Strada de Val > Strada Rezia > Piaz de Vich > Strada Roma > Strada de Antersief > Strada de Pilat > Strada Neva > Strada de Piz > Strada Daniel Zen > Bar Pé de Bosch > Strada de Col de Mè before returning to the starting point. The prize-giving ceremony will follow.
Organised by the ANA (National Alpine Association) Group of Vigo, in collaboration with the Municipality of San Giovanni and the local events committee. Registration at Bar Alpen Sport, Bar Pé de Bosch and the village bakery by 6 p.m. on the previous day (€ 12) or on race day before the start (€ 13). Admitted categories from 8 years to over 60. Meeting of competitors at 8 p.m. and start at 9 p.m.
