Giro del Monte Vignola
Seen from the Polsa plateau, the peaks of Corno della Paura and Monte Vignola appear as insignificant ridge elevations. Their high and steep southern slopes reveal their imposing and dominating position over most of the Adige Valley. For this reason, during the Great War the peaks were heavily fortified, so that they could prevail from above over the movements of enemy troops.

The mule tracks and the walkways that put in communication the peaks, are now usable for a suggestive excursion with a historical-cultural flavor and a great environmental-landscape interest. This beautiful ring is also suitable for children who have the opportunity (and leisure) to discover a fragment of history that has decisively marked the fate of Trentino and Italy.
