Ecomuseo Valle dei Laghi
Forge of experiences for sustainable development: the Valle dei Laghi Ecomuseum protects, interprets and enhances a territory based on the water element and wine tradition.
A museum, indeed, an eco-museum. Or, to put it better, a spectacular place with an ancient and prestigious history to be discovered step by step among lakes, mills and secrets of the winemaking tradition of Valle dei Laghi. Cultural and nature trails in places such as Lake Toblino, S. Siro di Lasino, the mountains and Roggia di Calavino, Ponte Oliveti and Nosioi di Vezzano. Walk along the itineraries that run alongside lakes, olive trees and vineyards and visit the cellars to experience ancient history. Already known and appreciated in the sixteenth century, the wines of Valle dei Laghi achieved even greater fame in the nineteenth century when the first commercial productions were developed, including that of the famous Trentino Doc Vino Santo. The quality and tradition of the products are still intact thanks to the commitment of local companies.
