The Three Kings
As per tradition, for Epiphany, the Three Kings arrive in Campitello, guided by the comet star and singing songs in Italian and Ladin
According to the ancient tradition between Christmas and the Epiphany a group of singers called "stelari" use to visit the houses of the village interpreting the Three Kings and accompanied by three shepherds. The Kings hold a pole with a big enlightened and twirling star made of wood and coloured paper. The group from Pozza will anounce the birth of Jesus by the big Nativity Scene in the square "Piaz de Ciampedel" at 6 p.m., singing Christmas chants in Italian and in Ladin (thanks to the collaboration of Master Stefano Lazzer), such as the Italian version of "We Three Kings" by John Henry Hopkins Jr, "From starry skies thou comest", and "He is born, the divine Christ Child".
