Sunday, July 7: walk along the Soffio del Brenta trail
Tommaso Melilli is a chef, writer and creative consultant. He moved to Paris after high school to study literature, but soon began working in a small bistro and other restaurants in the city's northeast. He is the author of I conti con l'oste (Einaudi, 2020), his literary debut in the “land of checked tablecloths.” Before that, he wrote about recipes and cultural digressions in the Placemats column of Rivista Studio. He currently writes in Friday's Republic and Slate and is one of the founders of L'integrale, a bread and culture magazine. He is the chef of the restaurant Gloria, in Milan, and is coordinator of the Master in Communication & Branding Design for Food at the Institute of Applied Art and Design (IAAD) in Bologna.
Route description: starting from Doss del Sabion, which can be reached by the lift, take the “Soffio del Brenta” trail, an itinerary that alternates between stretches of forest roads and paths through pastures and groves, to the Madonnina locality. The hike continues in the direction of Malga Bregn da l'Ors until reaching the locality Prà Rodont, where it is possible to descend to Pinzolo via the lift.
