Circus in Campitello with "Circo Carpa Diem"
As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival, a performance "DolceSalato" by the duo of young acrobats Katharina Gruener and Luca Sartor, a couple of bakers grappling with a recipe book and many, many differences in the kitchen
He is naive, absent-minded and dreamy, she is pure energy, speed and movement. Together they are like water and flour, together they make bread on a day that seems simple and normal, just like daily bread, but is actually magical and surprising, just like the two of them. Tulli reads upside down suspended from a pole, Vroni rides a bicycle pedalling with his hands and driving with his feet. They are funny, tender and surreal, they knead with four hands and while they wait for the bread to rise and bake, they take us on a journey through time and feelings.
At 9 p.m. in the square "Pian de la Teiles" (mountain guides office). Free entrance. For adults and children of all ages. Duration approx. 40 minutes. In case of bad weather, the show will be held at the events pavilion "Ischia", near the "Col Rodella" cable car.
"DolceSalato" is one of the shows of the "Circen Dolomites Festival". For a whole week, and to be more precise from 26 July to 2 August, Val di Fassa hosts prominent street artists and good international jugglers. Squares, museums, but also high-altitude locations, turn into exceptional stages for astonishing performances, both in ability and creativity. The festival is organised by Fassa’s group of jugglers "Circensema", founded in 2017 in partnership with the local association "Inout", which for some years has been practising the circus art and also training, together with professionals, some teenagers that perform in a few shows throughout the year, juxtaposing juggling and theatre.
