CircenPoza
As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival, travelling shows under the starry sky of Pozza for an evening of comedy, music, acrobatics and extraordinary stage performances
For one evening, the central "Strada Meida" in Pozza is transformed into a real open-air theatre. In fact, starting at 9 p.m. along the street closed to traffic for the occasion, street artists take turns with their performances to ignite dreams, imagination and emotions in spectators of all ages. Disciplines such as theatre, dance, music and contemporary circus practices intertwine in the presence of Cima Undici and Cima Dodici, creating a great travelling show. The programme of "CircenPoza" (circus in Pozza) includes performances by four different groups:
- 9 p.m., Enrico Mazza "From a Suitcase", a show by the actor, clown, mime, performer in which he is the protagonist of an unusual sequence of comic sketches, all to be laughed
- 9 p.m., Luca Chiarva "All in one", an acrobatic and light juggling show where the versatile circus artist will enchant the audience
- 9.15 p.m., Jorik C'è "Dai che ce la fai!", an overwhelming show of contagious glee staged by the female artist specialising in unicycling and juggling while balancing on a soft rope
- 9.30 p.m., Jordy Beltramo "Slalom", a concentrated performance of numbers and non-numbers, in which hats and headgear, cycles and unicycles, handlebars and pedals, trumpets and horns are mixed and mingled
- 10 p.m., Luca Chiarva "All in one" (replica)
In the event of bad weather, all performances will be held at the events pavilion in Pozza.
These are all performances of the "Circen Dolomites Festival". For a whole week, and to be more precise from 26 July to 2 August, Val di Fassa hosts prominent street artists and good international jugglers. Squares, museums, but also high-altitude locations, turn into exceptional stages for astonishing performances, both in ability and creativity. The festival is organised by Fassa’s group of jugglers "Circensema", founded in 2017 in partnership with the local association "Inout", which for some years has been practising the circus art and also training, together with professionals, some teenagers that perform in a few shows throughout the year, juxtaposing juggling and theatre.
