Charta della Regola
A cultural event with spectacular historical reenactment
According to tradition, the first week of August the village of Cavareno celebrates the festival Charta della Regola, an incredible historical reenactment of the ancient municipal ordinances.
Cavareno transforms itself into a old village for the occasion, to remember the period of the Charta della Regola, the ancient statute that established the rules of peasant life, from hay cutting to social organization.
The festival purpose is to bring back the atmosphere of peasent life in the past and show the old trades.
The streets will be full of artisans, peasants, nobles. In addition to the costume parades and the reading of the document, you’ll find also collateral events in the previous days: markets, cultural events, children activities, music, guided tours of the churches and historic buildings of the village.

Opening of the exhibition: “Notte stellata: 189 artisti omaggiano van Gogh”
A tribute to Van Gogh
The exhibition will be open until Thursday 15 August
During the exhibition opening many laboratories will be organized.

Opening of “Osteria dei Zóni” pub managed by Gruppo Giovani Cavareno. The pub will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
