Belvedere Monte Maggio
Defined as one of the most beautiful and at the same time easy excursions of the Alpe Cimbra, the Giro del Monte Maggio offers in various points wide views of the surrounding mountain ranges and signs of history. Once you reach the top, at 1853 m., you must stop under the large cross that commemorates the fallen of the Great War.
From the top of Monte Maggio you can take a break to admire the surrounding view: the view can range from the group of Monte Baldo to Brenta and, on the opposite side, you can admire the group of Pasubio with the Col Santo, the two Italian and Austrian Teeth, Cima Palon and the Borcola pass.
HIGHLIGHTS
On days with clear and crystalline skies, looking towards the Veneto-Vicenza plain, beyond the underlying valleys, you can see the reflection of the sun on the Venice lagoon.
